Here's what we're currently looking for volunteers to help out with:
Spring 2022 Field Clearing (posted 1/01/22)
Our work to revitalize native prairie in the Texas Hill Country often involves a struggle against invasive species such as Johnson Grass and Bastard Cabbage. While the pigs and chickens will uproot these plants, there are large sections of field that the animals just haven't reached yet. That's where human power comes in. We need volunteers to come out and help us pull as many of these invasives as possible in March and April.

You'll need to dress appropriately for working outdoors (long pants, sturdy close toe shoes, hats, sun protection), and bring your own gloves and water. If you have tools suited for digging up plants, please bring those too! We will take care of snacks and lunch.

Be aware that some of the fields we are clearing may be as far as half a mile through rough terrain from the nearest bathroom facility.
You can still apply for roles that we're not actively recruiting volunteers for, and we'll keep you in mind for when those opportunities do come up.
